Okay Ladies, I'm officially letting you know I'm scheduling the Fall "CRAWL" for.....drum roll please............................

Saturday, October 17th, 2009

I have not begun any other preparations - YIKES! There are two burning questions:

1. What stores to visit?

2. Do you prefer a luxury coach or will a school bus suffice?

I'd love to hear your thoughts.

I've also been getting Facebook messages and phone messages regarding the Crawl. I'd love it if you are telling someone about it, who wants to come, please give them my e-mail address. It is ballistic2you@shaw.ca. This way I have a "see-able" record of who I've heard from!

Okay, so I still have a lot of my stamp sets available for sale.............I would really like to get rid of them as sets from my new Close To My Heart catalogue are already on their way to my house.

Alright, I'd like to fill a 43 seater luxury coach this October! So, start spreadin' the news...........

Well, hasn't it been a long time since I posted anything!!! Some of you have even been asking what has happened to me........

I've been hiding is pretty much the long and short of it. Busy with life. I have signed with No5 Gallery to market my photo artwork. They will be displaying my works on their website very soon at http://www.no5gallery.com/. This is a new gallery that recently opened at Oak Bay Avenue and Richmond. Check out their website for upcoming shows. Mine will be in the early new year!

Okay, so I've got to get rid of some scrapbooking/card making stuff. I will announce the date of my upcoming sale very soon. For now, though, I have lots of Close to My Heart stamps sets I'd like to sell. I'm posting pics of them and you can e-mail me at ballistic2you@shaw.ca to purchase them.

Fall "CRAWL"....group picture

Here is the group picture of last year's Fall Island Scrapbook "CRAWL". We travelled on Saturday, October 25th to spend money and have some laughs. I posted the pic without our bus driver, because it is a happier picture!!!

I will post some other pics in the next few days, as I hope to stay on track with plans for a Mainland "CRAWL" the 20th or 27th of June!

I've been more and more reclusive these days............just because I can, I guess.

Well, I am trying to put the plans together for a Mainland "CRAWL" for the second or third Saturday in June. Taking a bus from here is turning out to be mucho expensive, so I've got prices for a great bus on the "other side"!!!

If we get to the ferry on our own and pic up a bus on the other side, we reduce our costs immensley and we would have time to fit in a fourth store. I'm going to try to pull it all together this week and then get info out to everyone.

Stamp set garage sale.....

Well it is that time of year again, time for a new Close To My Heart catalogue!

In light of this, I need to make room for some new stamp sets. In the next day or two, I will be taking pictures of the stamps sets I would like to sell and posting them here for you to shop.

I'm also hoping to post some 'CRAWL' pictures and maybe we'll play some guessing games again for prizes!

Also, check out my card/scrapbooking blog for some new artwork and my first posts using my Bella stamps. I've also just received some new stamps from Sweet 'N Sassy stamps that I've colored with my COPIC markers, that I hope you will enjoy!

Fall 'CRAWL'

Well, fun was had by all on the Fall Island Scrapbook 'CRAWL' on October 25th. We only visited 6 stores this trip and we were still short of time.

We started in Campbell River at She Runs With Scissors and C.R. Scrapbook Room. Half of the group at one store and the other 1/2 at the other. After about 40 minutes of shopping we switched. From there, we travelled on to Courtenay to Scrapbooking @ Comox Valley Computers. We continued our 40 minute shops and then most of us either went across the street to pick up something for lunch or like me, were lucky enough to have Susan Webb pick something up for them! (Thanks again, Susan!)

Then we travelled to Parksville to visit Scrapbookin' Adventures. Late in afternoon, we headed to Duncan to Treasured Memories. Once finished up there we made our last stop in Cobble Hill at The Paper Crate.

We left some passengers there, as we had stopped and picked them up in the morning at this destination. The rest of us vegetated on the bus back to Victoria!

I'll post some pictures in the next few days. I also have some Close To My Heart stamps sets I'll be garage selling to make way for new stamp sets from our January 1st release of our Spring catalogue. Stay Tuned!

Okay, in less then 24 hours there are already 11 seats SOLD!! Now, I have to thank Susan Webb for spreading the word around to fill a few....Thanks Susan!

I've also received an exciting reply to a contribution request I sent out last night. A U.S. online site that I've shopped from will provide a coupon for all "CRAWL" guests....I'm just finalizing the details! YIPEE.........

To double YIPEE, I've been speaking to Ann at Ella Bella Design Studios in Nanaimo and they will partake this year in some fashion, too! YIPEE, YIPEE!

The luxury, 47 seater coach, with a bathroom is booked for Saturday, October 25th and tickets are ON SALE NOW!

Contact me by e-mail to book a seat; I will confirm your request; then you must mail a cheque to me to reserve your spot on the bus.

I'm clearing out some of my stamp sets to make way for new ones from our upcoming Summer Close to My Heart catalogue. It goes live on May 1st and these sets must go before then. Here are pics and you can check your e-mail for the list of their names and prices.

Finally, what would you think about a scrapbooking retreat in Tofino during October storm season? How about if I offerred to take you to three of my favourite Tofino photo spots while we're there? Well, Spring break has been in full swing for my children this week!!! Uuuuughhhh, there are not enough things to do in a day to keep my three kidlets amused! I think I'll load them up with chocolate on the weekend and leave them with my unsuspecting husband!

I'd also like to let you know about a crop coming up on Saturday, May 10th at UVIC. This crop is hosted by Karen McKenzie from Tin Box Creations. It starts at 9:30 am and runs for a wonderful 12 hours, until 9:30 pm. Lunch and beverages are included for a mere $40 and each person brings a snack to share. Karen will also reward anyone bringing a friend who has not been before.

If you are tired of hearing that, then you must have enjoyed our Island Scrapbook CRAWL this past Saturday, March 8th!

If you've never heard a grown woman yell "Twenty minutes....." at you several times while you were shopping on a Saturday, then you must have missed the bus the rest of us were on!
